The Bramble, a quintessentially British cocktail, is making a revival. This version uses the very smooth Anno Dry Gin with Creme de Mûre Liquor (Blackberry). If you can’t get Creme de Mûre you can also use Creme de Cassis Liquor (Blueberry).

Anno Dry Gin 50ml

Lemon Juice 25ml

Sugar Syrup 12.5ml (To make: 2 parts sugar to 1 part water, boil and stir until sugar is dissolved, leave to cool)

Creme de Mûre 12.5ml (or Cassis)

Crushed Ice

Firstly, fill the glass with crushed ice.

Pour a double shot (50ml) of Anno Dry Gin, half a shot (12.5ml) of sugar syrup and squeeze a shot (25ml) of lemon juice.

Stir the contents and top up the glass with more ice.

Then pour half a shot (12.5ml) of Creme de Mûre or Creme de Cassis over the ice.
